ONE MILLION VOICES · BRIDGEPOINT SOCIAL
External posting API
Publish a public text post to BridgePoint Social from another app or server.
Endpoint
POST/api/v1/posts
Send JSON with a single body field containing 1–2,000 characters. Posts are attributed to the member who created the API key. The same endpoint is available on the app’s configured bridge-point-social.replit.app address.
curl -X POST https://amillionvoice.com/api/v1/posts \
-H "Authorization: Bearer bp_live_YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"body":"Hello from my app! #OneMillionVoices"}'Key setup
- Sign in to BridgePoint Social and open Account.
- Under External posting API, create a key and give it a recognizable app name.
- Copy the key when it is shown. It is displayed only once; store it securely on your app’s server.
- Use the key as a Bearer token in the Authorization header.
Keys expire after one year. You can revoke them at any time in Account. You can have up to five active keys.
Scope and limits
- Keys can create public text posts only. Media, private audiences, communities, comments, follows and account data are not available through this endpoint.
- Every post is public and may be visible while signed out. Do not include information that should remain private.
- The existing limit of 10 posts per member per hour and duplicate-post checks apply.
- Keep API keys on a trusted server. Never place a key in a browser, mobile app bundle, public repository or URL.
- This server-to-server API does not enable browser cross-origin access or use a member’s sign-in cookie.
